Meeting a new Dr.

All My Sister's Family and my Brother at Nana's funeral
4 generations....Mom, G, L and H
Dad, D and my niece H

I met my Radiation Dr. today. He is a nice man and his nurse is sweet. I had a CT scan and temporary markings as to where they will radiate me. Interesting...the markings cannot be washed off yet, but the next appointment is Wednesday when I get my permanent "tattoo" markings, 3 little dots is all it is. So guess I'll do the spit bath thing until then. LOL LOL I told Hubby I'd get another tattoo at some point. He was against it..HA!

I am starting my radiation Monday the 7th at 7am....they didn't want to start this Thursday and then not do anything for 3 days (4th of July holiday they are closed and then the weekend). Six weeks of it, everyday at 7am and we'll see how that goes.....so far fatigue is the only side effect I hear repeatedly, besides bad sunburn to the skin, maybe some blistering. I can deal with it. Then it's over YAY!

I hear Nana's funeral went well and was quite beautiful. She would have been pleased I'm told. I wish I could have been there. I am sorry that not all of us could attend....I really am, but life isn't always what we want for one reason or another. Life just doesn't work perfectly....I sure found that out.
