Much better day...

Photobucket

Hope your Sweetie and You have a great day! ;)

Yes.... yesterday and today are much better. I feel like the fear just overwhelmed hubby and me, but now I know that that's all it is.....fear....it can take anyone down. It's whether you let it keep you there or not. I will NOT.

A good friend of mine from Dubai said....
"I think it's normal to be worried - and justified. To quote one of my favourites (Sherlock Holmes): "this (cancer) is a foeman worthy of your steel". I know when I was ever so ill at times, Rich would feel rather helpless and it would get him down too. I hated that because it's one thing to go through an illness yourself, but doubly hard to inflict it on the people that care about you. That's how it has to be when people love you though - because you'd be the same if it was them."

I believe she is an old soul and I am learning from her....wonderful isn't it? One can learn from anyone...they just have to be open to it. I miss my friends from Dubai...our get togethers for tea or just walking about, was always interesting, but I will keep in touch through emails.

I have wonderful friends in the US and from all over the world. I thank GOD for all of them. They have been... as is my Husband and family...my salvation. Thank you all!

I'm getting a cold though...wouldn't you know it. Zycam is the newest wonder medicine for colds I'm taking...hopefully it'll do the job so the when I do the PET scan Monday, I won't be disrupting the test by coughing all over the place...LOL I can just see that....having to stop the scan with each cough....ooooeeeee. That test is supposed to take 3 hours....it might take 6 hrs. if I was coughing or they'd just kick me out LOL LOL.

It snowed last night and going to be cold today...again....might mean the spring is going to be beautifully green. Hubby is saying it is too dry in the house, with the fireplaces and the furnace going. I say that I like it dry. That's how I grew up...he grew up with more humidity in th air. LOL it's a "thing" between us every year. I say ok get out the humidifer and he says no no it's ok.....then eventually we get the humidifier out and run it for a short time. I don't want it to be like Seattle Washington during the summer....don't want any reason for mold to grow on the walls. eewwwww.

So off to the Dr.s today for a look see at the incisions. Just making sure they are healing well. Looks that way to me.

Take care everyone.....thank you for all your support.
