Here is the sewing center that Paul made for me for Christmas. I love it!! The wood...is solid Cherry that we chopped down in the back yard (it was leaning to close to the house). The surface is as smooth as....mmm ....a baby's skin. It smells so good.
He much prefers making things, than going to work....but doesn't want to make this a job. Isn't that the way? I am so proud of him and I think he did an excellent job. Next....the basement and then dressers....I've been waiting 10 years for the dressers, well, the ones I would like to have in the master bedrm.
Also here's a picture of our Thanksgiving Cactus that is just starting to bloom....a little late but that's ok, the color is gorgeous.
