Happy New Year!
May this be the best year yet!
Christmas was terrific. My DH gave me a Pearl bracelet and a new CD player, I dropped my other one in the tub, full of water (I didn't get shocked thank goodness). I bought him a lot of things for his shop, because he's building me a terrific sewing center, to be finished next weekend. (I will be posting pictures when it's complete....2 more layers of stain and then it's finished). I can't wait to start sewing again...self taught and have ALOT to learn, but looking forward to getting back into it.
Our New Year's Eve consists of a night watching "The Stand", eating Hubby's famous Nachos and drinking Asti Spumanti, our tradition we started 15 years ago. Too many crazy drivers out there on the road, so we play it safe and stay home. Besides, it snowing right now and no one knows how to drive in the snow, especially after partying.
Mom had her last dose of chemo and isn't feeling well. But she should be feeling better around the 17th of January, hopefully. Then her hair can grow back in and no more pain.
We didn't hear from our gr-son sad to say.....that's a long story, I will talk about that later.......hopefully we'll hear from him soon.

Wow! Paul did a great job on the desk! And your eyes look fabulous. I'm guessing you finally had them done! good for you! I hope you're mom gets to feeling better. I'll give you a call this week and we can talk. I'm curious as to whats going on with Gage!
