We went to Winter Park, Florida on Saturday....it is a greatplace...the old money kind of town and very personable. Outdoor eateries, wine shops, boutiques, and they also had an outdoor concert in the park. So we walked hand in hand through the whole little downtown area. Romantic....LOL
The above pictures are from The Wine Room. It was interesting and a learninig experience. I like those times. When you walk into the shop you purchase a wine card, an electronic card with a money limit on it. When you run out of "money" you can always add more. Then you enter the Wine Room... it has some round wine holders that hold the bottles and when the card is inserted to a slot, you push the button over the bottle of wine you want to taste and it will automatically dispense 1 ounce of the chosen wine. It could cost anywhere from $1.00 to $18.00 an ounce. Enough to taste and decide if you like it. You can also order a cheese tasting tray....3 kinds of cheese with baguetts and hard crackers....very tasty. We had a terrific time.

Looks fun! Wish I was there where it's warm. We had ice on the cars this morning and the road going to the Grapevine closed in both direstions. YIKE!
