Forgot to mention Thanksgiving....it was very good. We went to Hubby's parents home. Most of the family made it, so we had our pictures taken. As a whole family, then each of the boys families and then the Mom, the Dad, and the boys. The pictures turned out well...we all picked out what we wanted and then I ordered them a couple days ago.
My hips are really hurting since we came back from Florida. I think it's the wet cold of winter affecting my arthritis. This has been the worst yet as far as my hips go. Hope it doesn't last all winter. LOL
My hair was cut and shaped yesterday....my beautician told me that my hair is gowing in twice as thick as it was...it was "fine" before...now it thicker I'm liking that!YAY! Also she thinks the curl might not last...well either way it'll be alright....we are going for a Halley Barry look in her short hair....we will see, it'll take about 2 more months to see how it turns out.
2 of my Dr.s gave me a clean bill of health thus far, YAY! I see them again in 3 months along with getting a P.E.T. scan in March. My hormone levels are way way low which is what we want and my portacath is doing well. I'm keeping my "port" for another year or so (drawing blood specimens from it and also got my chemo in it. "They" say keep it for the first 2 years if you can unless you like getting stuck with needles. Well, since I can only use my right arm for that purpose, I choose to keep my "port". Do you believe it it's been 10 1/2 months since I was diagnosed?....January 22, 2007. Hard to think of that...at least for me. It's gone by fast...I mean on the whole. Each day it seemed to drag, but now the treatments are finished and my first year is almost over. YAY! YAY! NO MORE CANCER ALLOWED IN MY BODY...EVER! :)
