Went to radiation and also saw the PA this morning. I'm doing well and right on target. He said that next week, which will be my 3rd week, will be the week that my skin starts turning pink and the fatigue starts settling in...BUT...maybe I won't have any of that....oh sure....one can always dream though right?. I figure I will be doing radiation until about the 15th or the 22nd of August. The Dr. will then see me a couple of months after that and do PET scans within a 6 month period from the last day of radiation. Ohhh....and I was also started on Femara for 5 years.
The bottom of my feet are numb from the Taxol, it happened the week after I stopped chemo....one of the side effects....hopefully it isn't permanent. But I have heard it could be. Oh well, it doesn't stop me from doing anything. Just feels wierd.
My hair is growing in pretty good....I have maybe 1/8 of inch and it's dark. Still thin but hopefully, soon it won't be. Can't tell whether it's going to be curly or not.... or have any gray or not. AND I have the start of eyelashes coming in. YAY!!! LOL LOL Amazing how the little things are so wonderful. I did run into a gal whose hair came in very gray and very very curly.....she doesn't care for it but at least she has hair she said. LOL LOL My mom's hair came in thicker and curlier and REDDISH...she was a light brown before. It'll be interesting for sure.
