As of Wednesday....NO MORE DAILY SHOTS!!! YAY! I am soooo excited because they did make my legs ache...guess forcing bone marrow to produce blood cells (the shots) doesn't come without consequences. At any rate, it's great. I won't hurt for at least 2 weeks (and hopefully not at all).....for in 2 weeks I will be starting radiation. Well, I see the Dr. on Tuesday to find out exactly when, but in the mean time, hubby and I are going on a short trip for a get away. We both need that.
Oh...the other good news is....I have baby fuzz on my head! Yes! My hair is starting to grow back already...sort of. I have lost my eyelashes and my eyebrows have thinned out, but soon they too will be growing back. Hurrah! I can't wait....well I must admit it is nicer not having to fuss with my hair every morning and it is also cooler in the heat (inside the house) to be hairless, but I am tired of wearing these caps and would like to have my hair back. I must be patient though.
Supposed to be 101 today....both the air conditioners on the 5th wheel ran all day yesterday, but they did so without freezing up like in the other 5th wheel we had. I'm thankful for that. The RV Park is starting to fill up. Interesting watching all the different brand names coming and going. Both in 5th wheels and Motor Coaches.
Gas is anywhere from $4.49 to $4.69 and diesel is $4.99 to $5.45....it's awful. "They" say regular gas will hit $5.00 by the 4th. I believe it. What the heck are minimum wage to $10.00/hr workers supposed to do?....while paying rent, groceries (which are astronimical too), utilities, insurance, and be able to buy clothes and hope to the skies that they don't have kids and have to pay for child care while working and all the other things a child needs...oh my gosh ...when will this ever end? AND by golly DON'T get sick because there are no insurance benefits! The big Honchos are pocketing the big money and the Congress people don't even pay into Social Security but get lifetime monies and KNOW that the little people are suffering like heck but do they put themselves out there? no they give themselves raises! oh get me off this soapbox.....sorry...sorry

Hey sis! Sounds like you're doing great! So glad you're done with chemo! Now on to the completion of radiation and you can sit back and breath a sigh of relief. I know you're going to do just fine! I feel it in my bones (and these old bones don't lie!). The new home looks very comfy and I know you're enjoying being out of the hotel.
