Well....surgery is February 7th at 0930. We have to be there by 0745.
As of now, it'll be a bilateral mastectomy with lymph nodes taken from the left arm.
I am glad... it is all coming together and will be over soon. What a relief.
Next step is chemo therapy. I am not able to take the antihormone therapy Tamoxifin. So that means other chemo treatments. I don't know what, as I haven't spoken with an Onocologist yet.....that will be down the road after I recover from the bil. mastectomy.
By the way, unfortunately, we are NOT going back to Dubai. I'm upset about this. But Hubby says everything happens for a reason. I know this but still....
They let Hubby go...due to him wanting to be here with me for the surgery and recovery...also being in a supervisory postition it's hard to supervise in Dubai from the States. So Hubby is putting in his resignation and looking for work elsewhere here in the States. We will have someone get our things together in Dubai and ship them all back home. I will miss being abroad a great deal. I will miss my new friends, Jo, Liisa, Katy, Gayle, Anne. They are wonderful people and I will miss them terribly. We did have some great times. i am so sorry that you can't go back and that Paul gave up his job. But maybe ?????? you can move here. I hope he finds something he likes. Love ya
