Outfits....

Went to pick up the outfits in Satwa (50 Dirhams for the cab one way, $13.70 US dollars) and that's a 1/2 hour drive....anyway the pants were too big and 1 top was to small. So we had to wait while they altered them....right there on the spot....they take the clothes upstairs, so now we know that Hamid is not the seamtress...others are upstairs. He is the main salesman and measuring/alterations measuring person.. We were there for about 3 hours. It was interesting to see the different cultures come through there. Brits, Natives of Dubai, Austalians, French, and more. I loved sitting and just observing and listening to the accents. I liked it.

Anyway I had to leave 1 pair of black slacks there, because the waist was too high, but the rest were good. These are all light linen material...now these have been wadded up in a bag for 3 days....I haven't ironed them...yet. Not to bad as far as wrinkling right? Total cost....$165.50 for buying the material and having 3 tops, 3 pants and 1 jacket made. Can't beat that.
