Yesterday we went to the Gold Souk...The biggest gold and diamond gathering in the world...or so I hear. At any given time, there are at least 88 tons of gold here. Diamonds glittering all down the way. This place is about...mmmm...if put all on 1 level, all next to each other, it would be about 2 1/2 miles. It was amazing and a lot of different styles of gold and different gems. I was in awe and it was totally overwhelming. We didn't buy anything...yet ;)...but I'm pretty sure we will eventually. It is expected to dicker the price on jewelry. Hubby's boss is pretty good at it, but then one never knows if one got the lowest price. Bucky, hubby's boss, bought a few items and is going to have them appraised when he goes home for a visit in a few days. We will see then how well one can do. Enjoy the pictures!
