It's May

Yup almost 1/2 this year is gone can you believe it?
Well it's a gray day today and 64 degrees is the high. The last few days have been wonderful. No bugs, dry air and the sun was shining. Perfect...but living here it makes you appreciate those kinds of days alot more.

Mom is better these days. Still will be on the oxygen for another couple of months. Her heart is good and she has gastric reflux and is on medication for that. Her voice still sounds shakey a little but much better than last week.

For my birthday I received beautiful cards from friends and family...I love cards. My friend Stacy made the blanket, pictured above, for me. It's gorgeous. She is so talented. She can make so many things out of yarn. She also took me out to lunch to the Cheesecake Factory....YUM! Then of course we went to the mall to walk off the lunch. LOL I found a pair of crocs and bought them...soooo comfortable!

My Hubby cooked filet mignon and lobster tail...ohhh so very good. A dozen red roses and a beautiful card. He was home when I got home and that was a big surprise. I love it when he comes home early. I also get to have my eyes done!!! HURRAH! May 17th! I'll keep pictures of the event. He is the best husband and friend ever!
