Not much going on.....

Not much...nope.

It's the day after Valentines day. Hope everyone had a good one.
I made German Chocolate cupcakes for Hubby since he's a lover of goodies. Also a great card with the words they write in it and then a poem that I wrote in the card and also "10 Reasons why I love you". He loved it all.

He came home after work...with nothing....said he forgot the card at work...The look on my face must have been priceless because he went back to the car and brought in 2 cards. 1 of them was a musical one, "Wild Thing" and also 2 boxes of my favorite candies. Then he laughed and laughed. He's such a nut!

It's 1 degree outside...without the windchill. Supposed to get up to 13! Heat wave! Listen to this..."they" say next week we are supposed to be getting up to 40! My Gosh..we'll all be running around in T-shirts and shorts! I feel bad for Colorado and the East Coast....they both are getting hit bad and the storms went right over us. It's getting to the point that I'm thinking maybe it'll be like California weather here in the future without the mountains of course. With all the lakes here...it could happen. Well....in a futuristic movie maybe. Just thinking here.

Mom is doing much better these days and she's loving that. She has been in contact (email) with my brother's daughter, my niece...BJ. They are getting the past taken care of. Been a long time coming. I feel that it is good for both Mom and BJ ...there are 2 boys too Travis and Brett...but up to this point I don't think they are interested in Mom and me. Could be too much time has passed without contact, but that is OK...maybe in time.

Also.... Gage and his mother have moved back to Idaho!...she left the man she married (Sept. 1, I think, 5 months ago)....he was a real problem from the day I met him, in April '06. Just something "off" about him. Gage started acting out shortly after that, some of which showed up while he was visiting here last summer. I wanted to say something to Gages mother...but you cannot tell her anything. He (the husband) is a control freak... but he isolated them, was violent and had these white supremist ideas that he was trying to put into Gage's head....that's when she left. She finally realized that he was bad news. I hear that she is going to divorce him....I do hope so. I would like it that he have no more contact with Gage. I do hope that none of what her husband tried to instill into Gage sunk in.
