Mom's Surgery.....

is Tuesday the 5th. Thank goodness. Now she has a time table.....she liked her Dr. and he was up front and had a good "bedside/office manner". She has let it sink in and now the fear is starting. I can tell in her voice. I am going there Wednesday to stay and help. I think she will be relieved. I will be relieved to be there. I don't think I would be comfortable not being there. She will be discharged on Wednesday. Only 1 day in the hospital...amazing.....no time for recovery it seems. Used to be there was time for the nurses to talk with you and have a former mastectomy patient come talk with you.....but they don't do that anymore. That's all up to you to find all that info out. Cold.... very cold.
