Foggy morning...the posts in the water is an old railroad road.
Awesome picture I thought

I was really sick 2 weeks ago...DH and I both were. The cold/flu thing started out as a slight scratchy throat and within 2 days a full blown head cold, that then moved into the chest...lasted a week and a half. ick. I now feel better and so does DH. YAY! I hate being sick. I am sure everyone does.
Nothing really exciting except the weather...in 1966 there was a record high of 84 degrees....well as of 10-9-10 the record was 89 degrees! and the temperatures have been very nice since then, like summer weather...it would be great if it lasted until spring LOL.
We did have a hard frost that took down our vegetable garden. My coleus's and a couple of other plants in the front were frozen, so out they went. The rest of the plants are still okay so I haven't pulled them, but it'll be soon I would imagine.
We went up north and I found these colors in the woods...though I'd share them with you. Did you all have a great color changes?
The foggy pictures are up by The Chainsaw Sister's place. Used to be a bar and grill in the middle of the woods, but it's gone now. Just a "bathroom" and parking lot left.
Here's the story.....In 1988, two sisters owned and operated the popular establishment known as the Chainsaw Sisters Saloon located in the Superior National Forest. The name came from the fact that, earlier in their careers, the two sisters had worked with chainsaws doing stand thinning work for the Forest Service. In 2006, they decided to sell their business, including the property, and move on. Were you looking for a more morbid story? LOL I did too, the first time I saw the place. LOL
