New Job

Well..... hubby got tired of traveling (I didn't) but when he only got 3 days off in 3 months time...we decided that that was just too much for his health and we weren't together all that much either. There was even more talk of him going back to Argentina for 2 months and I wouldn't be able to go. Sooo, he quit.

Now he's working for a local company that works from 7am-4pm, all weekends and holidays off. No overtime though (darn it) but good pay and a company truck (they pay gas). That kind of works out even-steven, sort of, considering he has a 45 minute commute in good traffic that is. LOL Every once in awhile there will be travel and I can go, regardless of where it is (they only work within USA).
Sooo New start....but he'll be home every nite and we can do more things together, maybe even back to New York to actually see it. One never knows...LOL

Also, won't be seeing our grandson for our usual monthly summer visit....his mother won't let him come because his father won't sign a piece of paper saying he will be missing 3 visiting weekends....no where in the court ordered papers does it say he HAS to WRITE it...it just says they have to agree, which they did, but now she wants it in writing...I'm figuring she wants it to use it against him some way, that's how her head works....so our grandson and us get the raw end of the deal, no visit...boy all this CONTROLLING is going to bite her right in the butt someday. Bite real hard I say!!!

Other than that, this weekend will be the first time this year that we get into the high 70's! I can't wait....it's the middle of June and still feels like a cold spring. Dang! Last weekend was low 50's and at night it was 34 degrees....too cold.
Come on summer!!!
