My Dr. appoinment went well. I have a new Dr. and he reminds me of my Oncologist in Bakersfield, CA, that I thought was terrific. So I'm pleased. The port flush was a success...meaning she got in first try and without pain. YES!
The plane trip here was an event....I flew Southwest and have always had a good trip. This time I flew into Chicago, had a 2 hour layover, boarded the plane to Long Island and sat in the plane for 2 hours while they tried to fix a broken seal on one of the engines. Everyone was great, even the children! I was impressed. Then when they couldn't fix the seal, they ushered us to another gate and loaded us onto another plane. It worked and was a good flight to here.
I watch Airline on TV and some of those people are so very rude and obnoxious...but everyone stayed in good spirits....it wasn't like the airline planned for the seal to break...no point in getting upset about it...right?
