Happy New Year to all my family and friends!
2008 has been... and will be gone in 8 short hours. I am happy... this has been a hellacious year and I'm glad it's over.
Christmas was great. Hubby and I spent the day together and he cooked a wonderful prime rib dinner. We enjoyed our day and the peacefulness of it. We are thankful for our blessings.
Now I must add this....we live in a rural area, the neighbor down the street was robbed in broad daylight. The robbers took a LOT of stuff....that is worrisome to me. Brazen people... and the sad thing is they lost all they had received for Christmas and more. I hope the robbers get caught and pay for their crime 10 fold. Lord knows how many others they have robbed. Makes me sick.
