The Cancer Center Dr. started me on daily shots of Leukine, this makes ones bone marrow produce all the blood cells that keep your immune system good. I did 2 days of that medication and I hurt sooo bad that Vicodin 500mg every 4 hours didn't touch it....my bones just ached .....anyway I went in on Saturday and told them I couldn't do that shot anymore, that the pain scale was above 10 and I just couldn't do it...so they said no more shots until we talk with Dr on Monday. They think I may be toooo sensitive to the Leukine...ya think???? Anyway the fatigue is incredible...I tire so very easily....and the bone pain finally stopped this morning, Monday. Soooo my last shot was Friday and the residual lasted until Sunday morning then returned last night (I took a pain pill last night). So I am going to request the same shots that I had in the hospital....to raise my white blood cell count.....those shots didn't hurt me.
Hopefully this week we will hear about the 5th wheel. I hope so. I'd like my own space. Hotel living is OK, but not indefinitely.
Mom and Dad drove down for my last chemo and shot treatment. It was sure good to see them, although there was nothing for Mom to do except keep me company, we talked alot. I needed my Mom. Dad slept mostly, but he needed it I think. They went back on Saturday....the day after the big earthquake in NV..4.7 I think it was. A vase broke and some cabinets doors were open, along with alot of askewed pictures. But on the whole there wasn't any damage. Thank goodness. The cats were in good shape and missed their "parents" alot. Thanks Mom and Dad for coming to my aid! I appreciate it so much!

Good to hear they're not going to make you take that drug anymore. It sounds terrible.
Man, there have been quite a few quakes up in the Reno area lately. Is that normal?
Happy Happy Birthday, hope you had a good one and that you are feeling well. Love Lindsay Brian and Hailey
