Hubby is in Dubai! Well, actually in Abu Dhabi. He and Bucky (hubby's boss) got in yesterday at 1pm our time and 10pm their time.
There is a 9 hour time difference from where we live, 11 hour difference from Nevada, 10 hour difference from Idaho.
Flying over to Amsterdam, his seat was a "pod"....like a recliner that lays back all the way flat and then an area for computer, tray for dining and drinks. Blankets and pillows offered. The airplane food was pretty good he says until he changed planes in Amsterdam, (another pod again) then the food got a little different, like goat cheese and dry crackers....he didn't go into detail there, obviously he didn't care for it too much.
Today he has been in meetings until 1pm and then went back to the hotel. John, his head boss over there, told them to go the south of Dubai to a high rise apartment building with views to look for a place to live. I comes fully furnished with washer and dryer and maid service. I said we don't need maid service and Hubby said it comes that way....can't get around it. Ohhh darn! LOL LOL
The views are spectacular Hubby says. I can't wait to get pictures and then to get there myself. Soooon.....
