Weekend is over

It was a relaxing weekend.....I went shopping with Stacy, something I haven't done in a while. We had a great time. Went to lunch and might even have found a good Mexican place to eat. I'll have to try it again to make a full decision. I bought some books and I bought Hubby one to...the latest of the series of DUNE. We love that movie (the old rendition) and we have all the books. A couple of other things and YARN! But of course not enough of the colors I needed...soooo I will have to go back to JoAnne's to get more...ohhh what a shame. ;) I have started knitting with a circular mold with pegs....easier on the hands....you wrap the yarn around the peg and then after 2 rows, you bring the bottom row over the top row and viola'! You've knitted a row! So, I am trying to make a scarf. I'll show the end result.

Sunday we went to an apple orchard and went through it. My gosh...there were a ton of people! We did a wine tasting and bought a couple of bottles, bought some apples for baking, and walked around. Unfortunately I forgot the camera and some of the maple trees leaves are starting to turn colors.... it was a beautiful day and a great drive. We haven't done that in awhile.

Let's see... Mom will have to have a CT scan sometime this week. They found something on her liver (about an inch long) with the ultrasound....might not be anything....but we'll have to wait and see. Waiting... waiting... waiting....always. Patience is a virtue they say.....I am pretty patient I think, except when it comes to medical results...I want them now.
