and now need to get over the jet lag. UGH! We got home just in time for it to start hailing and pouring rain. We got 2.5 inches of rain in a few hours time. Of course we needed it. I love the sounds of rain.
During the stay out west, there were the Balloon Races. Dad and I went to the Dawn Patrol on Sunday and stayed to see all the balloons get up. What a magnificent sight. So graceful and I was definitely in awe. Enjoyed the dry, high 80's weather and gorgeous mountains and of course being with family. It's good to be home though. I missed my hubby's hugs and my own bed.....
Mom is doing great. She has some more tests today.....just to check out other places that that little cancer bug might be hiding.....also see's her Dr. for further results and finds out when she can start exercising that right arm.
Hubby and I celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary yesterday. We both were so tired, that all we did was have a very good meal, cooked by hubby (Steak and Lobster) and relaxed. Not very exciting, but enough for us. I don't think we have caught up from the summer! That just whizzed by and today it's going to be a very cool 54 degrees and gray. Might be a good day to sit on the couch in from of a fire and watch movies or read.
