I had better add to this before I forget what has gone one this last week.
Let's see.... Monday.... I went for a pedicure.....ahhhhhh was that ever wonderful. 1-1/2 hours of pure pampering. Whirlpool, massage, herbal tea, aromatherapy, soft music, massage again, and painted toes. My gosh....I love it! Will have to do this several times a year....ohhh yeahhhh.
Wednesday..... went to see the Dr. and lo'...she was on vacation. The office person said,"Oh we called you July 20th but you weren't home....looks like.....well.....guess we didn't call again".....Hmmmmm..... where are these girls brains! Why not leave a message? Hummmmm? So, now I must wait another month. Nothing dyer....just the principle of the thing.....don't get me started.
Thursday.... went to see "The Body Worlds" at the Science Museum, with a friend and her family. It was amazing. This consists of real people that donate their bodies after death to be used in this display for the public's interest. Such as lungs from a smoker....how a runner looks posed (muscles and tendons and inside organs) when running....a gymnast, a javlin thrower. Other diseased organs and healthy organs, and much much more. It was truly amazing and if you get the chance to see it.....it sounds bad, I know..... but please see it. Don't take the kids...they would be bored silly.
Friday....Hubby came home early and it was nice to just relax with him. It rained for 3 days off and on and it was gray and dreary most of this week. We made popcorn and watched movies for the evening. Very nice.
Today...my Dear Husband went to see his folks for the day. I am staying home to enjoy a soak in the tub with candles, aromatherapy, and soft music. Looking forward to that this evening.
